It was our first trip as a family in Europe, and we can call this a mini-honey moon. Me, the boy and two more friends travelled 2800 km in six days, visited 7 countries, saw so many interesting place, ate delicious food and took countless selfies. Here are some moments from out trip…
We departed on the route Sofia-Zagreb-Leoben. We passed through Serbia and stopped in Zagreb to look around and have a cup of coffee. After that we left for Austria and passed through Slovenia. We spent the evening in Leoben, Austria at the house of a very good friends of ours in the Alps.
We left Leoben to go to Prague. The route was beautiful as we passed through the low parts of the Alps, and talking about the Alps, we were greeted by Bambi when we woke up in Leoben. On the way we passed through Cesky Krumlov – a beautiful and picturesque town in the Czech Republic, one the Unesco sights.
Our first full day in Prague. We did sightseeing as proper tourists – walked around the square, along the river, got on a boat and ate a whole lot of roasted ham at a little tourist trap on the square (we paid an arm and a leg for lunch, but it was delicious!) In the evening we went to the Madonna Concert part of the Rebel Heart tour that was in Prague… and it was amazing.
Second day in Prague. We kept on sightseeing and being super-tourists- went to the palace, we had mulled wine and ate pork knuckle and beer. In the afternoon me and the boy went to the Museum of Sex Machines, and it was very educational and quite interesting, to say it mildly. We finished the trip at the local pub right bellow our AirBnb flat.
Early in the morning we left for Hungary and Budapest. On the way there we passed through Bratislava.
It was a full travel day on the route Budapest-Sofia. We stopped only to eat in Serbia, but still had a lot of fun in the car.
I have a vlog to show all the adventures in motion. Hope you enjoy 🙂
